Empower Your Intuition

“The universe is conspiring to help you succeed. Trust in its plan.” Jose Silva

If you have been to one of my Meet & Greets you have heard the story of when I first discovered my gift. I was in college and out with friends, living a carefree life of a young person. Suddenly, I felt a presence, a shift in my feelings to despair and sadness. I locked eyes with a man across the room I had never seen before and knew I was feeling his feelings! I thought I was losing my mind! I ran home and called my mother. She laughed and said” You aren’t crazy, your psychic!” Apparently there is a long lineage of psychics in my family I was only partially aware of. There is a lot more to the story and I hope to see you at our next Meet & Greet to tell it all to you!

This event sparked a quest. I wanted to refine and control my gift to better help people around the world. I found The Silva Method, perfected by electrical engineer and father of 10, Jose Silva. There, I learned the science behind psychic ability, or ESP at it was called then and many beautiful spiritual philosophies that resonated wih me and are a big part of my life.

The Silva Method helps train people to enter states of enhanced awareness in the brain. Our waking moments are spent in Gamma (problem solving) and Beta (busy, active mind) but we can enter a spiritual realm in between our inner consciousness and sleep. This space is in between Alpha and Theta with Delta being sleep.  This is where I discovered I can speak to my guardian angles and ask them to speak to your guardian angels. Because I am in this spiritual plane I am not completely aware of what is being said and that is why I don’t remember conversations between you and the angels. That message is just for you.

So how can you train your brain and empower your own intuition?

Make Time to Meditate

It is not a coincidence that meditation is one of the top 3 habits of the most successful people on the planet. When we make time to quiet the outside noise, distraction and inner musings, when we just let our thoughts go where they may, your intuition has a chance to come front and center. Sometimes answers or insights will just pop into our minds from “nowhere”. There are lots of great apps out there to help you get started if you need it or a guided meditation on Heaven’s Light Wellness YouTube Channel.

Trust Your Gut

When those answers or insights pop in we have to be willing to listen and act upon them. Too often when we hear that “inner voice”, get Goosebumps or feel a shiver down our spine, telling us to do something or warning that something is off we brush it off and ignore it. Intuition, gut or “sixth sense” is something we are all born with and, with a little practice, can be used to improve your life and manifest all kinds of amazing things.

 Practice Mindfulness

Practicing mindfulness is about being present and living in the moment. Focus on what you’re sensing, feeling, doing and seeing in the moment. Don’t judge or act upon these feelings, simply acknowledge them as yours. Practicing mindfulness can utilize deep breathing methods, guided imagery, and other practices to relax the body and mind and help reduce stress. Use Your Dreams

While in deep sleep our brain waves are in delta and our brain is processing experiences, memories or resolutions to problems. Paying attention to our dreams can help provide those hidden clues we are searching for. Even daydreams can be insights into your intuition. Keep a journal at your bedside to jot down your dreams as soon as you wake and be open-minded about how they relate to your life. You may be surprised at what your brain can come up with in dreams.

Try Using a Tool

A common way to quickly reach an inspiration or insight into a situation is to use Empowerment Angel Card Messages. Think of an intention or situation you would like clarity on, shuffle the deck and pull a card or cards for your answers. Try using them before your daily meditation for a deeper connection to your intuition.

Of course, use caution and common sense when using intuition. Because intuition is specific to you it can become biased and clouded by your own thoughts of what should occur. Have a friend or loved one as a sounding board for big decisions. I encourage you to try these suggestions every day for one week. You will be pleasantly surprised to see what impact empowering your intuition will have in your life. I’d love to hear about what you learn!
