Reiki is an effective emotional and physical healing method. It can be used for
many ailments like reducing stress, relieving chronic pain, headaches, stomach
upsets, back problems, female issues, sinus, anxiety and can aid in healing
after surgery and much more.
Please note that Reiki should never be used
instead of medical treatment, it should be used as a complement to treatment
and a way to become and remain healthy.

The Five Principles
Of Reiki 

The 5 principles, also known as truths, of reiki
are affirmations you can use everyday. By focusing our thoughts and
actions for today our energy flows right where it is needed bringing
needed balance.
You will notice that each principle begins with ‘just for today’. The
meaning for this is that each of us really only has today.  Just
for one day, today, try out these power affirmations as part of your day. As a
daily practice makes it attainable and manageable, therefore it is ok if
you fall a little short. The principles will be the same tomorrow!


Principle 1. Just
for today, do not worry.

Stress and worry stem from fear of what the future may hold. We make up situations,
confrontations and conversations that can make us worry
but seldom occur. We call it “borrowing troubles” in our family.

This principle of reiki asks to have faith that things will turn out as they should,
relax and just for today, try not to worry. Be mindful of your breath
and thoughts and steer them toward gratitude. Just for today, do not

    Principle 2. Just
    for today, do not anger.

    Anger is often easier to feel, rather than coping with the
    emotional pain you feel inside. It is an
    internal emotion by an external source. Frustration over situations
    with people, places and things, fear of having something taken away or not
    getting what you want or   just feeling helpless or out of control.
    If you control your internal frustration emotion you can have power back.

    This principle of reiki asks to regard situations as they truly are instead of how you
    would like it to be. Be mindful of your thoughts and make sure they are
    true. Just for today, do not anger!

    Principle 3. Just
    for today, be humble.

    Humble people have a good understanding of who they
    are. They also are aware of humanity and all of its imperfections. Humble
    people are soft and powerful as they can and will
    succeed. They know they can learn from situations and can feel
    their own power.

    Check your pride and ego often. Ask for help when you need it.
    Listen and ask advice from others and your own intuition. Just for today,
    be humble!

    Principle 4. Just for today, be honest.

    Honesty is not just about not lying or stealing.  Honesty also involves being trustworthy, loyal, fair, and sincere with ourselves and others. Being honest builds trust. Not only will others trust you, but you can also feel more confident when trusting yourself. Honesty of what is in front of us also causes us to stress and worry less as we are authentic and powerful in every situation. Just for today, be honest!

    Principle 5. Just for today, be compassionate.

    Did you know compassion literally means “to suffer together.” When confronted with others in emotional or physical pain and suffering treat them with respect and empathy. Never judge. Be ready to assist and relieve someone’s pain if possible. Also give yourself that same grace. Be compassionate to your own feelings and emotions as much as you can.

    Just for today, be compassionate.
